Everyone always asked when I got saved. Well to be honest, I don't really know. I am one of those people who always knew that Jesus was born & died for us and that he is my Lord and Savior.
John 14:6 says
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
and Philippians 4:13 says
"I can do all things through Christ, who Strenghtens me."
 
I was raised Roman Catholic in Berlin Germany, and I always spoke to Jesus since I can remember. I think a lot has to do with my Dad's situation. I am not going in to details, but I will say this much. Me and my siblings did not had a very good upbringing. I believe unto this day, if it would not been for Jesus and my Mom who held the Family together, I would not be where I am at, now. My dad past away in 1995 (due to alcoholism) and my Mom in 2007 on Colon Cancer
 
In 1983 I met my loving husband who helped me in my spiritual growth. Before I met him and since than we had so many incidences, where we say that Jesus had a hand in it. My Husband was in the US Army and we had so many incidences where I could have lost him.
 
One Example is in 1985. He was suppose to leave Berlin in October 1984, with his best friend. Both where going to the same place, same Unit. Since he was scheduled to leave we got Married in April 1984, so I could go with him. Since we got married his tour got extended to a Family tour and his friend left. We all told him to try to stay by asking for an extension, which he did not do. In December 1985 his friends unit went to Egypt. On the way back one of the Planes crashed with no survivors. Bill's friend was on this plain. Now If Bill would have gone he could have been on that plane as well.
 
Since than their are so many incidences, that I could not name them all.
 
I was always told I could not have any children, Well Anybody who knows me, knows that I have 2 beautiful girls. It took 4 years each time, but it happened. My oldest was born in Ft. Polk, LA and my youngest was born in Berlin after the first time around in Iraq. Bill was their, and I got pregnant with Barbara once he came back. She has a lot off medical issues, but nothing we could not handle. Everything is possible through Christ.
 
Thanks to the Lord we are still here and raised 2 wonderful Girls who are saved, my oldest is engaged to  a wonderful young man who is also saved.
 
I work for Government MWR, I love'd working with children.
We are always told we could not speak about Jesus, but when the children asked questions I tell them. We can't start it, but if the child ask question we answer. And if the Parent tells us that they are saved we also speak to them. We can't put it into our curriculum, but it does not hurt to speak about Jesus and answer question. I talk to the Parents as well.
I don't work with children anymore (due to my health) other than Awana At church
 
We are suppose to "Go Tell the wonderful News" and I do.
John 3:16 says
"For God so Loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting Life."
 
Yes I make mistakes and wonder off sometimes, but I always ask Jesus for Guidance through out the day and ask for forgiveness.
Jesus gave his life for my sins,
and I will do anything possible to thank and serve him and continue to do so until he calls me home.
Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
